Giving New Life to Clothes No Longer Worn

The outfit is based on a clean, refreshing mint green, finished with a light and elegant silhouette. It’s a sophisticated style that accentuates Licca's delicate charm.

Clothes that were once cherished but no longer worn, now given new life. These garments, full of precious memories, have been transformed into a special outfit for Licca. The costume is crafted with sustainability in mind, upcycling parts of old uniforms from TOKYU STAY, as well as incorporating fabric scraps.

For instance, the fabric used for the lunch bag sewn for my daughter, or the material from the first floral skirt I made for Licca—each piece holds a treasured memory.

Please come and see this upcycled outfit, which carries the stories of the past while creating new beauty.

What is Upcycling?

"Upcycling" is the process of adding new value to something that is no longer needed, transforming it into something different. It’s not just about recycling, but about harnessing the inherent charm of materials and creating new designs and stories.

In this project, clothes and fabrics that were once special to someone are being revived as outfits for Licca, breathing new life into them.
